Nina (ニーナ Nīna?), a member of God Tribe, she was worshipped as a deity in her homeland until Edgar Fromware captured her and forced her to put on a slave collar by threatening children from her village. After being saved by Rein Shroud, she became his fifth contractual.
Appearance[]
Nina looks like a child with fox features, including fox ears and three fox tails. She usually wears her traditional dress.
During her time as a slave, she wore a shaggy white robe and had long unkempt hair. She was also very filthy as she was kept inside a cell, she also shown wearing a slave collar that was eventually removed by Rein.
Personality[]
Nina is a gracious person; for instance, for the sake of people, she accepted being enslaved by Edgar. After getting enslaved by Edgar, she endured his lashings and never stopped longing for someone to help her. When Rein came to her rescue, she was initially scared because of her trauma, but Rein's kindness touched her. She always thinks of others' well-being no matter how much horrible a situation she is in. As Rein was breaking her collar to terminate her contract with Edgar, it made Rein feel severe pain, Nina showed a melancholy nature and said he should stop it as no one will be sad if she dies. But Rein refuses this, replying he'll be sad. This causes her to trust Rein fully; surprisingly, she finds his recklessness a unique trait.

Nina lived in a shrine deep in the mountains, hailed as a "goddess", She was glorified by the neighboring villagers. She lived a peaceful life until Edgar heard the rumors about her and enslaved her using a magic collar. Since then, she had to face violence and torture from Edgar on a regular basis. Rein freed her and, in the process, became his fifth contractual.
Abilities[]
As a member of the god tribe, Nina's abilities are regarded as out of the world. Though she's still an child who can't completely wield the true powers of the god tribe, Nina still has incomparable powers, making her one of the strongest characters of the series. Rein has once stated that she can make the impossible possible.
- Divine Protection (神の加護 Kami no kago?): A defensive ability that allows Nina to create an invisible shield. She manifests the shield when she senses danger. The shield is too strong to be broken until Nina herself nullifies it.
- Instant Transmission (瞬間転移 Shunkan ten'i?): Making use of space magic, she can instantly move from one place to another. She can even transfer her targets to different locations. Nina can also chain her teleportations so that she along with whoever she is teleporting with appear to be flying in the sky as seen with Rein when she chained her teleportations to keep them in the air when they were fighting the demon in horizon.
- Awakening: In her awakened state Nina temporarily grows up into an adult and gains an increase in abilities to the point were she able to transition portals all at once. After training with her mother Nokia she able to awaken whenever she wanted but could only be in this state for a few minutes
Relationship[]
- Rein Shroud: Nina was initially wary of Rein due to her experience with Edgar. But she immediately trusted him as he told her he came to help her and managed to free her from her slave collar. Afterwards, she decided to help him during his battle against the demon in Horizon and managed to help him achieve victory. Afterwards, Nina asked Rein to make a contract with her and he agreed after asking everyone else for their opinion. Ever since, she stayed close to Rein and sometimes ended up sneaking into his bed at night as she felt comfortable around him the most.
- Kanade: Kanade and Nina get along well like sisters. Kanade found Nina adorable and immediately cuddled her and assured her that she was safe with them.
- Tania: Tania like the other girls found Nina to be extremely adorable and cuddles her every now and again. Tania helped Nina buy new clothes and helped her cheer up after learning that the village she once resided in had been abandoned. Tania also acts like Nina’s older sister and watches over her.
- Sora and Runa: The two like the other girls also found Nina to be extremely adorable and cuddles her every now and again. They helped her cut her hair after she was freed from Edgar’s grasp. The two look after her and act as her older sisters.
- Natalie Brough: Natalie like the other girls found Nina to be extremely adorable and after meeting her for the first time, immediately cuddled her. Although she was initially wary of Nina after learning she was a Demigod, she assured her that it was fine to cuddle her.
- Tina Hollee: Nina and Tina get along well. Nina does not mind Tina’s presence and the two look after each other.
